I am Krystal (Jordane) Mills aged 22 years old.
I have been living in Cardiff, Wales, UK nearly all my life and continue to pursue my Contemporary Country Music Artist Career.
I compose and produce my own music and perform solo with acoustic guitar and I like to mix my song sets with an array of acousitc and backing tracks to suit everyone with a blend of originals and cover songs.
My main inspirations for song-writing and styles of music are Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Adele, Katy Perry, Jessy J and Lady Gaga.... bit of a mixed bag...
Since June 2015 I have been fortunate to relocate to the beautiful island of Mallorca as a resident performer and host/presenter for Thomsons Gold Holidays throughout the summer season. This has entailed daytime pool and beach activites and at night hosting various games shows such as The Gold Rush, Full House and Secret Sounds in addition to hosting and welcoming guests and international artists to take centre stage. I also perform weekly at the 4 star, Hotel Rocamarina, Cala D'Or. I shall be returning to the UK in November to perform at various venues around Wales and England and working on a new exciting project.
Previously I was an entertainer at Bluestone Nature Park Resort, West Wales, which is a 5* Family Resort where I entertained 2 year olds to 90 year olds every day with frequent day and night time shows for all the family e.g...Host Game Show Nights, Pub Quiz's, and perform and play live music for the grown ups as well as Character Dinner Shows for the children.
I have sung at many 5* Hotels to include St Davids Hotel and Spa, Cardiff Bay and to audiences of all sizes.
I have been singing since I was about 4 years old, singing with my hairbrush to my Mum's tracks on the CD player from artists such as Celine Dion and Whitney Houston, dancing around in circles. When I was 6 years old my Mum and Dad took me on holiday to Butlins (Minehead) where I entered a talent competition and sang "My Heart Will Go On" By Celine Dion which was the first time I had sung in front of a live audience. Even at 7yrs whilst at Birchgrove infants, I remember being so excited when my school installed cctv cameras that my best friend and I used to sing and dance to these cctv cameras and amuse the teachers and Headmistress in the staff room.
It wasn't until I was 16yrs that I picked up a mic again and began entering local talent shows for fun and to achieve experience. Often I was asked to perform at charity events and then thought maybe I could persue this as a career. So took some singing lessons and then to my surprise I was given a guitar for Christmas 2010 and within 10 days I taught myself the basic chords on youtube and then there was no stopping me. I never played an instrument up til then.
Competitons and Success Story's...
In 2013 my musicical journey took me to many larger festivals and 5 star Hotels, to include St David's Hotel & Spa, Cardiff as well as overseas.
In 2010 I won Cardiff's regional Best Western Hotels Talent Contest and was placed second in the UK and again won at their Bristol regional in 2011. I also reached the finals of Cardiff's Queen's Arcade Xmas Factor 2011, regional finalst of the Open Mic UK and was a finalist in Cardiff's Got Talent 2012 at the historical Coal Exchange. One of my best achievement to date was when I recorded and upload my debut single to Itunes, which for two months in January - February 2012 reached number one in the World Unsigned Top Charts and remained in the Top 10 in March 2012. That song was called "Waiting For You".
I have also performed at many festivals to include Cardiff's Mardi Gras (Pride Cymru),Wales Millennium Stadium and Coopers Field, Wales Millennium Centre, Glanfa Stage, Godiva Festival (Coventry) - UK's largest free festival, Usk festivals as well as at other large arena's include Peterborough (Waxstock Car Exhibition), The Butts Arena for the Coventry Bears. Launched the Stamtram Charity within the Senedd (Welsh Asembly Building) April 2012 and featured in WalesOnLine and Wales On Sunday (aparently this was the first time live music was performed in the Senydd so made a bit of history too). I am really looking forward to working on my new projects ... all a bit hush hush for now.
I have performed on Romanian TV singing my own song "He's an Idiot" on channel TVH, from my album "Rodeo Clown" on 1st March 2014 and again had an invitation back and the honour of representeing the UK for the International George Grigoriu Festival held in Braila, Romania and televised Live on TVR.
Following on from organising and hosting my own first weekly live music event for unsigned bands and artists at the Globe Music Theatre which ran from Aug - Nov 2012 called "Globe Unsigned", I then hosted a weekly live music showcase event from December 2012 to June 2013 as well as the resident performer at SODA Bar (Cardiff) for "Soda Live Wednesdays" at Cardiff's prestigious lounge/club. I introduced some of the best original artists around Wales and beyond to these venues to showcase in front of the general public and to music A&R's and music agents who regularly attended. My first weekly Showcase event at the Globe Music Theatre was also broadcasted on the world wide web, which allowed international artists and listeners everywhere to hear what Wales had to offer. It even attracted other artists to participate from all over Europe and was the first time a live music showcase event was broadcsted from Cardiff on the world wide web which lead the way for other local radio stations to copy my successful concept and develop their own broadcasted music showcase/open mic events.
RODEO CLOWN 1st Album Release....
I released my 1st Album "Rodeo Clown" on 20th March 2013, mainly recorded at the famous Monnow Valley Studios and is a mix of originals and covers, which is available to download on itunes, Amazon, Spotify, emusic and many more music distribution websites. For a signed CD you can purchase at gigs or order by contacting email@example.com.
I have also completed my Level 3 Hairdressing qualification and occasionally I assist with hair and makeup for local musical performances and fashion/pageant shows, which has included the Youth Welsh National Opera and Miss Face of Europe Beauty Pageants, etc.
I reached the pre-selection group for Eurovision Romania 2014 dueting with Mircea Cioclei with his Romanian Entry Song. I have been very fortunate to be working with a great team of producers in Germany and Romania who produced a fabulas track with Mircea. We narrowly missed the Romanian finals. Also my song "Bang Bang Bang" reached the 2014 Swiss Eurovision entry pre-selection stage too. In 2015 I co-wrote an Irish Eurovision Entry song called "Hometown" which again narrowly missed the top 5.
During this period I was also placed third in UK at the Euromusic International Song Contest and was nominated for a music award with my original songs in 2014 and was a guest performer at Spain's Port Aventura "Wild West" theme park. Also Invited to perform in Romania's presigious George Grigoriu International Festival.

I really hope you enjoy my music and look forward to singing for you.
My song sets can be adapted to suit your budget and audience, such as 30,45,60 minute acoustic guitar or a 30,45,60 minute backing track set list with a mix of originals and well known covers. Maximum of 2 hours. More often my performances incorporate both a mix of acoustic guitar and ending with upbeat backing music. Something for everyone, but if you want me to perform a particuar favourite song not on my list, then I am always happy to learn it with advanced notice and I have a full PA system. I am always learning new up to date material so my song list is not always up to date.
